We welcome you to the website of the Solid Rock Church of new beginnings.
Where souls are saved, bodies are healed, lives are changed, and where signs and wonders of God still work by Faith, In Jesus Name.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Redeemer. We believe in the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost.
The indwelling power of the Holy Ghost empowers us to live and overcome the temptations of this world offered to us by Satan.
According to Acts 1:8, you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you. It is this power that helps us to overcome the wiles of the Devil.
(How to receive it) according to Acts 2:38. A man must repent of his sins. Repent means to stop everything that you are doing out of the will of God, and whole heartedly serve him without going back to your old ways.
Be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remissions of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
My friend, to make it to heaven, you are going to need the Holy Ghost power to take you there.
The Solid Rock Church was founded by the late District Elder Tobin Murphy and his First Lady Sarah Murphy who married 1971, and he served until his health failed him and he was placed in Ocean View Nursing Home where he passed on to be with the Lord on Saturday, 10th of November, 2001 11:00. Truly this was a great man of God. We, The Solid Rock family, by the help of out God, will strive to take all opportunities to win souls for the name of the Lord. This was the mission of this great man and women of God.
May God help us to fulfill the mission for the Lord Jesus Christ.
I hope you will come and fellowship with us and praise the Lord with us. For God is truly worthy to be praised. Also, we want to thank you for taking the time to read our website.

Praise the Lord----we have something to celebrate----WAPN 91.5 FM is 24 years old on September 26th and we are asking you to encourage the station and let us know that you appreciate this voice in the community by sending in a love gift to help cover a need that we have at the station---we just had a tower inspection and need some structural repair on the top by our antennas and also the building needs some extra lightning protection -the cost is $12,000.00--if we all do something this need can be met and we can schedule the tower crew. WAPN does not do Sheratons or booklets to celebrate our anniversary, but when we have a need we let you know and believe for that need to be met----maybe your church could take up a one time love offering for the station and that would be greatly appreciated.
